To top off the meal, she picked up seaweed salad & miso soup from the local Japanese restaurant, then I made a cucumber salad from the mix-up of cucumbers that Jenika & I accumulated from different markets.

serves 4
4 cucumbers, sliced in half lengthwise, then in slices
the juice of 1 lime
1 TBL honey
2 tsp sesame oil
sea salt & cracked pepper
- Toss together.
