Appley. Cakey, yet puddingy. Cinnamony. Russian Apple Sharlotka. I am almost embarrassed about how much of this dessert that we ate in one sitting. 

I found this recipe on Smitten Kitchen, as you can probably tell, I really enjoyed it. It is dead simple, it is dairy-free & it really is all about the apples.
