smoked salmon spread. {grain-free}

5 November 2011
This yummy spread is so versatile. Last night I used it for filling for homemade rangoons (dipped in the Ginger People's amazing Sweet Ginger Chili Sauce). This morning I put it on toast with an egg over-easy. But it is great for a quick appetizer or for a get-together with some crackers. Oh, it would even be good on a bagel (just an excuse for me to eat a bagel)!

So it is versatile & as easy as throwing some ingredients into a food processor & making something seemingly gourmet--just the way I like it!

smoked salmon spread.

8oz organic cream cheese
4 oz smoked salmon (try to find something local or at least sustainable)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, leaves picked off
3 scallions, just the little nubs chopped off
2 cloves garlic
1 TBL lemon juice (a half a lemon)
sea salt & cracked pepper to taste
  1. add all the ingredients into a food processor & blitz until smooth.
happy eatings & cheers!
