Yesterday we went to Barrels Community Market in downtown Waterville, Maine. I had heard about it through the local "grapevine" & have been eager to check it out. The market is a nonprofit store that sells only local foods, beverages, & crafts. The prices were great, the produce was seasonal & beautiful & to top it off there was a man playing Beatles songs on some-type of harpsichord.
If you are ever cruising past Waterville on I-95 with a few minutes to spare, the store is located less than 5 minutes away & you will come home with some real Maine treasures!
