The new Snack Shack just opened on UMF's Prescott Field. They installed a wood oven for pizzas, so on our way home from bringing the dogs out for a run in the fields, we picked one up. We were pleasantly & happily surprised with our margherita pizza. The dough is from Marble Family Farms, hand stretched, scattered with fresh veggies, basil & mozzarella. We made a big garden salad with a vinaigrette--& dined al fresco. Who knew the Snack Shack would be so handy...
The next step for Farmington will be food trucks! Well, at least I hope so.
